The following Terms and Conditions apply where they are not stated as separate items on the aforementioned estimate.
The Customer is requested to sign and accept these terms before commencement of works.
1. Scope of the work
Integral Property Services shall furnish all the materials as agreed and perform all of the work shown on the estimate and/or works described in drawings provided by the Customer.
2. The Estimate Price
The Estimate Price is subject to additions and deductions in accordance with changes authorised by the customer and/or Integral Property Services. Additional works requested by the Customer and not detailed, as part of the original estimate, shall be chargeable.
Integral Property Services shall agree costs with the Customer and these additional costs shall be itemised separately on the final Invoice.
Payment terms shall be as per the original Estimate.
3. Deposits and Stage payments
Payment of Deposits and/or Stage payments shall depend largely on the total value of the works.
Payment terms are included on the original Estimate and should be strictly adhered to. Typically, Deposits of up to 50% and Stage payments eg., after Week 1, Week 2 etc., may be requested.
4. General Provisions
a) Integral Property Services may at its discretion engage subcontractors to perform the work as specified.
Integral Property Services shall fully pay said subcontractor and in all instances remain responsible for the proper completion of the works.
b) Integral Property Services warrants it is adequately insured for injury to its employees and others incurring loss or injury as a result of the acts of Integral Property Services or its employees and subcontractors.
c) Integral Property Services agrees to remove all debris and refuse from premises, ONLY if specified in the Estimate.
d) In the event that the Customer shall fail to pay any Stage payment due as specified in the Estimate, Integral Property Services may cease work pending payment of said instalment.
5. Other Terms
a) Ownership of all goods and materials supplied by Integral Property Services will not pass to the Customer until payment has been received in full.
Late payment may incur an additional 5% of costs.
b) It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that access to site is made available to the Integral Property Services throughout the period of works. Integral Property Services accepts no liability for delays caused as a result of its access to site being obstructed.
Any losses incurred by Integral Property Services as a result of access being prevented (i.e. downtime, delivery charges, suppliers cancellation fees etc) will be passed on to the Customer.
c) Integral Property Services will ensure that the Customer is made aware of any hazardous substances used within the Contract and of their affect on persons, pets, property etc.
